| REIKI means "restoring your life-energy" in Japanese. Reiki (Ray-key) is an old Tibetan healing practice that was rediscovered in Japan about 200 years ago. A Reiki practitioner has gone through a special energy initiation which puts her in direct contact with the universal "Ki" (life-energy). Reiki balances the Yin and Yang energies in the body and thus strengthens the immune system which often suffers under stress. It also helps us to understand the causes and meanings of various illnesses and accidents to assist us in our spiritual growth. Go To Current Weekend Intensives REIKI CERTIFICATION This certification involves weekend intensives in which you will go through an energy initiation that puts you in contact with the universal life-force. Limited to 6 participants, they involve deep personal healing. REIKI FIRST DEGREE CERTIFICATION You will receive the four energy attunements necessary for the first level of Reiki practice. These high-power, energy-moving initiations which clear mental, emotional and physical blockages are a self-discovery process which we will pursue throughout the course of the weekend. In addition, you will learn the hand positions recommended for practicing Reiki primarily on friends and family. REIKI SECOND DEGREE CERTIFICATION Having completed a Reiki First Degree Certification course and waited at least 3 weeks, you can receive the 3 Reiki symbols used for long-distance healing, clearing mental and emotional blockages and increasing power. This degree of Reiki steps up your energy vibration ten-fold and makes you an official practitioner. Specific instruction for facilitating healing for clients will be given. REIKI THIRD DEGREE CERTIFICATION After waiting 3 weeks following the Reiki Second Degree initiation, you are eligible for receiving the Master symbol. Although you are not a Reiki Master at this point, the third degree symbol will empower your treatments 100-fold and take your personal intuition, insight and compassion to new levels as you further clear energy blockages from your system. REIKI MASTER TRAINING This service is available by arrangement with Dr. Epp. For more details contact her at her office. TRY REIKI In Japan, "Ki" means the same as "Ch'i" does in China. It is our body's vital life-force that exists everywhere in the universe and is inexhaustible. The practitioner has the ability to pass this energy on to the patient by the laying on of hands. The "Ki" flows intuitively over the therapist's hands through the client's clothing directly to where it is needed most and in exactly the right amount. In principle, the Reiki therapist is just a channel for this healing energy. Everyone (even animals and plants) can benefit from Reiki, whether healthy or ill, young or old. Reiki can treat chronic illness or be used for relaxation and recuperation. |
